The Kenmare Arts Festival encompasses a number of local events supporting new and established artists including an open submission exhibition of art works displayed in the business windows around Kenmare town and the 'Poets Meet Painters' competition.

Our warm and welcoming Poet's Bar is open every evening from 3pm and with live Piano Music every weekend it is a great place to meet, mingle and chat in the heart of Kenmare.
Poets meet Painters is a competition by Mill Cove Gallery for original, previously unpublished poems in the English language, inspired by the paintings featured on their 'Inspiring Artworks' page in any style up to 30 lines long.
